Target Beauty Box Update

I received the Target Beauty box on Monday July 15. Target was giving out 20,000 beauty boxes for $5 with include shipping and tax. Target wants to start a beauty box subscription like ipsy, julep, birchbox & etc. People would received their beauty box in about 4-6 weeks. I finally received mine after waiting 9 weeks. Because at first Target sent me a email saying that USPS rejected my mailing address, so I have to fix it. After waiting about two weeks for the beauty box I email Target about it, they said they had already mailed it, but might have gone lost in the mail and they sent me another. So here it is the Target Beauty Box:

How I received the Target Beauty Box

What it look like.

This what the actual box looks like. It just plain white box. This box can be reused.

This what it looks like inside the box.

Inside there is a $3 off $15 coupon, but unfortunately I was not able to use it because the was coupon was expired. Target did extended the coupon to July 13, but I did not received it until after the date. I did email Target about this and they said they are looking into it.

Update: I received a email on August 7 from Target saying that they were sorry about the expired coupon. To make it up Target send me another coupon. On Monday August 12, I received a $3 off coupon on any purchase with no expiration date. Thanks Target.

Back of the card it giving information about each product. Unfortunately it does not give the prices on each items.

On the card it said Gillette Venus and Olay Razor Pack help lock-in moisture and keep legs smooth with Venus & Olay's new Sugarberry. It come with one razor handle, a shower handle, and one razor cartridges. I have try Venus & Olay before through influenster and I loved it. The problem with this is Venus & Olay are expensive, because the fill are $15.99 at Target website for a 3 ct.

The second item I received is the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips in 470 Lust-Rous.  On the card it said Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips These strips will allow you to easily add pizazz to your manicure with multiple print and pattern options. I am excited for this product, because I been wanting try this for a while. I was hoping to get a lace pattern or a snakeskin pattern because I'm not too crazy about this pattern that I received.

Fekkai online price for a 1.6oz is $9.00, 4oz is $25.00, & 7oz is $35.00.

The third item is a Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream in a 2oz. The fourth item is a L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream in light.  On the card it says L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream meet the magic all-in-one skin B.B. Cream it hydrates, primes, perfects and correct for a look and feel fit for the runway. Unfortunately, I will not be able to try this out because I am not light.

The last item is La Roche-Posay Effacal Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment. On the card it says La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo while previously only available through a dermatologist, La Roche-Posay is now available at Target. Effaclar Duo is a breakthrough in acne treatment clinically tested to bring high-efficiency with high tolerance. I do not have acne, but I do have small little bump on my forehand so maybe it can do something about it. I will get it try.

Based on the full size product I received in my Target Beauty Box total worth of the product was about $26.58 not bad, for a $5 box.

Pros & Cons with the Target Beauty Box:

Pros:
  • The box was $5
  • I got my money's worth
  • I like that the products was not really beauty product like makeup (I do not wear makeup).

Cons:
  • No tracking: There was no way of tracking my box
  • It took too long. I knew that it would take about 4-6 weeks, but it took about 9 weeks for mine to get here.
  • Two sample packets
  • B.B Cream was not in my shade

Overall, I think the Target Beauty Box was great. If this became a monthly subscription like Target wants to do then they need change some things. But for the box itself was great.

So, did you get a Target Beauty Box what pattern to do you get for the Sally Hansen and what do you think about the box. Let me know in the comment. Also, if you want me to review one of the products in the Target Beauty Box let me know in the comment too.

Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastic

In my Sunkissed Voxbox I received Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastic. It came in five different color dark pink, gray, black, brozne, and purple.

I really happy to recieved this, because I needed new ponytail holder. This was the first time I had try Ribbon Elastic.

I like the ribbon elastic, it does not hurt my head or anything. Sometime with a ponytail holder I can put on too tight, and with goody ouchless ribbon elsatic I don't that.  I have not recieve any problem with them. It hold my hair in place. I have fine hair, but I had a lot of hair. What I have notice with the ribbon elastic, is when I take it out of my hair there is no hair on the ribbion with a normal ponytail holder I would have a little bit hair on it.

I do love that it come in different color, so you can match the ribbon to your outfit.

The Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastic retail for $3.99-$4.99
